It's Relay Time!!

It's that time of year again. The time when I spend time planning team events and raising money for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is coming up the first week of April. Some quick information about the things I will be taking part in at this year's Relay:

* I am the Chairperson of the Ceremonies and Luminaria Committee meaning I have the responsibility of planning the four main ceremonies; Opening/Survivors (Celebrate), Luminaria (Remember), Fight Back, and Closing. As far as Luminaria I am in charge of selling them in addition to the ceremony.

* I am also Co-Captain for the Phi Sigma Pi Relay team. We have a great theme and a good size team.  We have several ideas for activities on site including one of our great guys participating in the Dude Looks Like a Lady onsite fundraiser. 

*Another Team activity we have going on is several of the girls including myself will be cutting our hair for Pantene's Beautiful Lengths. This means cutting off eight inches at least to be sent to make wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
