Hello All,
Sorry it has been a few days since I have updated this thing. It has been really crazy around here.Since Tuesday I am glad to say, I have not been on any crazy lets get lost trips to Target although I now have the nickname in the program of Target. Yay! For once I actually have an interesting nickname. To get you all caught up, Wednesday morning we had another lesson by Dr. Yampolsky but it actually was interesting when he started talking about Retinoblastoma which is a cancer of the eye that has been extensively studied by geneticists. We had Wednesday afternoon off again. Part of the group went to see Harry Potter but I stayed back at the dorm with Amanda, Lauren, Jeremy, and Katie and watched a movie we went out and rented. After dinner everyone came into our room and played, well started to play, Phase 10. Of course there are pictures but for some reason the connection always fails when I try to put them in here so check out the my pictures link. Our room has turned into the place to be if you are living in the dorms.
Thursday Dr Yampolsky's lesson was overly long and started with the scientific method. I think I have that down by now but aparently he wasn't so sure. After that 2 hour lecture he started teaching some basics of Statistics. As many of you know I took Statistics junior year but the teacher was less than excellent and so I remembered some basic parts of the lesson but not everything. After we were finally released from class we went to lunch which was actually really good since there was an orientation Thursday and Friday. Thursday afternoon we went to a math conference that was way over all our heads. Thursday afternoon we had soccer again. It was dry this time but my team lost miserably. After the game everyone came back to our room to finish the Phase 10 game which is still not over.
Friday we didnt have any classes since we normally will go on trips on Fridays. I went over to Katie and Danna's room to help cook Pancakes for everyone (after sleeping in until 8:00). After breakfast we watched Freedom Writers which is a fantastic movie for any of you who haven't seen it. Friday afternoon we did go back to the conference but it was actually understandable. After that we went to the ropes course on campus as a group which was interesting. We had to do several team building activities, one of which was to get all of us over a wall. This was not a little managable wall, it was about 12 feet tall at least. Straight up. We all got over somehow but several of us (including me) have bruises all over our arms. Not to mention the soreness that was so bad I could hardly move Friday night. After the ropes course and dinner at Buck's Pizza most of the group went home for the weekend.
Yesterday those of us left on campus slept in and the went on a hike in Rone Mountain State Park. After that we went out to dinner and ran some errands which I can't really discuss right now. You will hear about it in the next week I promise. Today I slept in a little and Amanda went to pick up her car. I have cleaned our room because I was bored and all alone. We are about to go to some park to just hang out when Jeremy and Lauren get back.
Update again semi soon.

I'm so glad that you have a blog! I haven't been really good about being available to talk these past couple of days, but I can still keep up with how you are doing! It sounds like you are having a wonderful time (even with Statistics). I hope you have had a fun weekend! Talk to you soon. ;)
